Parking is available in front of The MCC. There is no cost for parking.

Why is a bird rescue hosting an all animal adoption expo?
Beak n Wings, Inc. and it's members all have the same goal, to find homes for homeless companion animals. This is our way of giving back.

What makes this event different than the other Adoption events?
There is no differance. We are trying like everyone else to find homes for as many homeless animals as possible. In some cases, this will be larger event than others you may have been to and in some cases it may be smaller.

Will I be allowed to adopt an animal at the event?
Pets will not be sold or adopted at the event. However, adoption agencies will be taking applications at the event. Consumers are encouraged to follow-up with these agencies following the event.

Who will benifit from this event?
In 2008 the beneficiaries of this event will be Beak n Wings, The Pet Connection, and the Lawrence Humane Society. Each year that we hold this event, we will pick new rescues that need help to benifit from this event.

Do you ever need volunteers for the event?
Even though Beak n Wings, Inc. is a large bird group we do need and use volunteers. If you are interested, please call 913-322-3398 and talk to one of our members to learn how you can help.

Can I bring my pet to the event?
No. For the safety of your pet and those animals exhibiting at the event, you are not allowed to bring your animals to the event.

Is the show handicapped accessible?
Yes. There is handicapped parking in the front of the MCC. There are no on-site wheelchairs available for use at this time.
