Love birds but feel bird ownership is not for you right now? You can sponsor any of the birds we have for adoption. Our sponsors will be listed in our member newsletter and on our website. Sponsorship can make a real difference so we have provided you with two different ways to sponsor a bird waiting for adoption. There are monthly or yearly sponsorship opportunities open. We hope you can find it in your heart to help a bird in need.

Sponsorship provides:

• the ability to feed each bird a species appropriate diet
  
• provide appropriate cages, toys, and perches
  
• and most importantly, veterinary care. (Veterinary care is usually our largest expense.)
  
• We also must cover other costs, such as website fees, storage rental, office supplies, transportation costs, phone bills, etc. Our volunteers receive no pay.

When you sign up to support one of the birds, please put the bird's name in the "comments to merchant" section to let us know which bird you would like to sponsor. We will send you a picture of the bird and some information about the bird. We will even let you know when the bird gets a new home. We will then give you a new bird to sponsor to finish out the sponsorship.
