WE ARE A NO KILL SHELTER
"Beak n Wings does not euthanize birds due to over population".
This does not mean that there will not be any euthanasia of those birds that are too sick or injured to ever recover.

Some reasons why people give their birds to us.
Bird is plucked
Bird bites
Bird screams
Bird is messy
New born baby entering home
Spouse passed away
There are many reasons why we get birds in, this is only a few of them

Not every bird we get in is in perfect condition.

Some are plucked
Some bite
Some scream
Some are very cage dominate
We take them in no matter what their condition is.

Give a bird a second chance, adopt before you buy!
Number of birds we have taken in to re-home
2003 = 58
2004 = 124
2005 = 110
2006 = 200
Finch to Macaws

You can see the birds we have for adoption by looking on the left side.

Next to the type of bird you will see how many birds we have of that species.

We take all the birds we rescue (Conure to Macaw) to the vet for test and grooming, smaller birds if needed.

Keep checking back, we get birds in all year long. If you do not find what you are looking for at this time, you might see the right feathered companion soon.

NOTE: We do not allow breeding of the birds we adopt out. Be sure to read how the program works, this will let you know just about everything about the program.
